Initial contract until November 2025 with possible extension paying approx. $1000/day Brisbane Airport Location with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week Our client, a national organization within the aviation sector, are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for an initial 12-month contract.

The Program The Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP) will deliver updates to operational (mission-critical) and corporate networks that will ensure existing systems remain connected to deliver safe, efficient, and effective Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services.

This organisation has commenced a multi-year program of work to modernise our network to enable a strategic change agenda. Over the next few years, ENMP will undertake an ambitious transformation program which will transition to a new IP network with new terrestrial, microwave, and satellite components, and move to a managed service provider / vendor operated model.

As an ENMP Technical Business Analyst, adhering to relevant frameworks, you will be responsible and accountable for liaising with key ENMP and Stakeholders to lead business analyst activities required to support Architecture and Design activities, enabling the successful delivery of the modernized network and effective transition of all operational services.

Responsibilities include; As the ENMP Technical Business Analyst you will be responsible for delivering IT Enabled Projects associated with the delivery of the ENMP body or work. The ENMP Technical Business Analyst will assist with producing deliverables which adhere to the Airservices frameworks and standards with little/no interruption to business delivery.

Maintain an effective working relationship with other staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives Apply contemporary Business Analysis and organisational change practices when dealing with stakeholders, such as; Requirements elicitation, business process mapping and / or stakeholder engagement workshops Communicating all project risks, issues, and dependencies in an effective and collaborative manner Maintaining relationships with key technical and business stakeholders Compliance, Systems and Reporting Align business analysis activities to industry best practice and processes Stakeholder engagement and business analysis for the ENMP to understand the business needs as they relate to project delivery. Requirements definition and traceability using standards and tools. Monitoring progress of project work packages, deliverables, and products, Identify and report on risk and issues impacting service delivery and program performance Developing artefacts to define the outcomes for the organisation and resources required to support the delivery of these outcomes, Planning with the Master Scheduler and maintaining a project schedule that identifies work effort, roles and resources required, budget estimates, constraints, Aligning with the EPMO stage gates and organising stage gate reviews when required. Safety Demonstrate safety behaviours consistent with enterprise strategies. Traceability and Validation of Safety requirements and how they are met. Required: Must be Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain the relevant Security Clearance. Demonstrable experience regarding system of systems thinking and analytical problem solving. Experience in the analysis and reporting of system and business requirements including documenting financial, technical, and business risk. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives, internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately. Demonstrable experience with regard to interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation skills Demonstrable experience engaging with geologically diverse project teams. High attention to detail and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
