People, Safety & Culture ManagerThe Opportunity: By joining the team that's based in our Redcliffe Office Monday to Friday, the People, Safety and Culture Manager will be responsible for the overall human resources, safety and cultural integrity of Daltech. This role will be accountable for strategically leading the People, Culture and Safety function providing high-level advice, support and solutions across the business.

The Role: Team Leadership and Development: Leadership of all employee relations, industrial relations and safety matters.Drive company culture and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.Endorse initiatives and implementing programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, whilst identifying, nurturing, and developing talent for future growth.Human Resources: Championing employee engagement, culture and wellbeing.Designing HR measurements of success to track progress.The implementation of HR 'best practice' systems, policies and procedures.Oversee the full spectrum of the HR management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.Work Health and Safety: Set the standard of a positive health and safety culture by adhering to the highest safety standards, attending all scheduled safety meetings, visiting active sites, and enforcing HSE principles at all levels.Lead, engage and participate in HSE risk assessments.Provide safety, compliance, policy, or procedure training programs in line with group requirements and maintain knowledge of all company safety programs.Finance: Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with senior management.Provide financial forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reporting to support strategic planning.Reporting and Analysis: Ensure adherence to relevant employment and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating potential risks and liabilities.Stay up on of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in People, Safety & Culture, applying insights to drive organisational excellence.The Requirements: Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications (min Cert IV): Human Resources, Safety and LeadershipExperience: Demonstrated experience managing Human Resource functions and teams with positive results in delivering recruitment and retention targets.Knowledge of Australian HR legislative frameworks (i.e. the Fair Work Act) and contemporary HR practicesDemonstrated experience in managing and implementing Health and Safety systems and providing advice to managers and staff about best practice HS&E matters.Knowledge of Australian Safety legislative frameworks and regulations.Mining or heaving earth moving equipment industry experience.Skills: Strong knowledge of Health and Safety/Human Resources, regulations, and reporting standards.Leadership, decision-making abilities and team management experience.Demonstrate unwavering ethical and professional behaviour.Detail-oriented and organised.Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively to leverage expertise across the organisation.Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.High level of integrity, humility and ethical standards.Strong professional resilience and proven ability to adapt to challenges.Lead from the front taking accountability to deliver on organisational or departmental objectives.The Employment Benefits: Greatteamenvironment with regular catch-ups fostering strong professional relationships.Supportivemanagement team who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.Competitiveannualisedsalary + superannuationAnnualised personal and company bonuses - performance and target-driven.Wide range ofsalary-sacrificingand novated lease options.Business casual attire with uniform provided.Company laptop provided.Onsite parking.Inclusive&approachableteam culture thatrecognisesthevalueeach of us brings.Company committed to growth promoting longevity and future career pathways for team members.Apply Today!
