Hybrid opportunity - work from home 2 days per week.Flexible work options available including a 9-day fortnight.Permanent role based in Newcastle, close to the Newcastle Transport Interchange. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As the Regulatory Knowledge Specialist, you will collate, create and manage a knowledge repository of legislative interpretations, their application and implications for operational processes and organisational decision-making and reporting.

You will:

maintain an in-depth knowledge of Coal LSL's legislative interpretationscapture, create and disseminate regulatory knowledge by developing and maintaining documentation, including regulatory processes and decision libraries, ensuring usability, concise content and alignment with our assurance frameworkmanage Coal LSL's centralised regulatory knowledge database, ensuring consistency, coverage and the elimination of duplicationcollaborate with key internal stakeholders to gather data for the creation or revision of documentationdevelop and maintain documentation hierarchy, content standards, and templatespro-actively drive continuous improvement of Coal LSL's regulatory clarity, including identifying knowledge or documentation gaps and preparing new or amended documentationcollaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Community Engagement, Internal Communications and Capability Development teams, to disseminate knowledge and enhance knowledge retention.WHY WORK WITH US?

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

To be successful in the role of Regulatory Knowledge Specialist, you will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining documents, documentation sets and/or knowledge databases. You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a flexible and agile approach.

Your background will demonstrate your:

understanding of knowledge management frameworks and methodologyability to learn complex concepts quickly and explain with clarity and technical accuracy, adjusting language according to the audiencehigh level of attention to detailstrong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build collaborative and productive relationships at all levels of the organisationexcellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor written and oral styles to the relevant audienceeffective organisational skills, including the ability to manage changes to requirements and priorities within tight timeframesexpertise developing and maintaining documentation sets, or knowledge databases, in a regulatory context (desirable).

Ideally, you will have tertiary qualification in technical writing or communication or demonstrated workplace experience.
