The Role We are currently recruiting for an appropriately skilled and enthusiastic Full-time RegisteredNurseor Endorsed EnrolledNurse, servicing theSunshine Coast Region. As aRegisteredor Endorsed EnrolledNursewith RCS, you will be responsible for the individualized Clinical Support requested by our Participants. Clinical supports will be provided to participants receiving High Intensity Care within their NDIS Plans and may include: Wound Care, Bowel Care & Management, Diabetes Care, Seizure Management, Tracheostomy Management, Continence and Catheter Care, Ventilator Management, and Subcutaneous Injection Support. Writing clinical plans are an integral part of this role. OurNurses also provide training to the developed plan to ensure that participants support networks are trained to deliver care, and we would require you to be involved in that. You will provide a range of community Nursing services to assist people with a disability to improve their health and wellbeing to improve their ability to be actively involved in their local community.

Skills and Experiences Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA - with no conditions applied to the registrationPrior experience in Community Nursing working with people living with disabilities and complex health care needs is highly desirableExperience in the delivery of Training to Support Workers (TAE Qualification highly desirable)Must have a QLD driver's licenceCurrent Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)Full Australian working rightsThe ability to use Participant information systems and IT platformsTwo current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be requiredIf you are passionate about providing Clinical Care to people living with a disability and would like to work in a role that is both challenging and rewarding, we would love to hear from you.

Your agreement and capacity to use the App to fulfil reporting obligations forms part of your employment conditions.
