TheBethanie Therapy team currently have a great opportunity for aqualified Occupational Therapist to work in partnership withresidents at our aged care home in Gwelup. If you share our passionfor person centred therapy services and promoting a positive ageingexperience for older people, we would love to hear fromyou!

This roleis currently being offered on a Permanent Part Time basis, working32 hours per week across a 9-day fortnight.

TheBethanie Therapy team consists of over 40 Physiotherapists andOccupational Therapists. New grads are always part of our team, andwe would love to hear from you! This is your chance to gain someexposure to the rewarding sector of aged care.

About therole: You willprovide customer centred assessments, interventions and programsand work in a broad multidisciplinary team. Our focus is toimprove the quality of life of Bethanie'sresidents. Duties will include:

Complete therapyassessments and respond to clinical referrals Planand implement individual or group therapeutic activities,whilst working with the interdisciplinary team to maintain aneffective referral system and co-ordinate therapyimplementation within a Residential Aged Careenvironment Directand co-ordinate therapy implementation by Therapy assistantsand support staff Maintain appropriateclinical documentation and information systems Contribute to amultidisciplinary program of continuous improvement Aboutyou: Willingness to upholdthe Mission, Values and Signature Behaviours ofBethanie Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and currentregistration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia(AHPRA)Knowledge and skills assessment and treatment techniquesand ability to plan, implement and evaluate pain managementprogramsGood computer skills, with confidence to use MicrosoftOffice packages and clinical information systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in bothverbal and written formCommitment to person centred careDemonstrated workload and time management skills andability to work effectively in a team setting Asan Occupational Therapist at Bethanie, you'll experience arange of benefits including; Fullsupport from our Senior Therapy Team Leaders and TherapyService & Wellness Manager Rewarding career witha supportive culture Professionaldevelopment and training opportunities including regularTherapy Service Meetings SalaryPackaging up to $15,899 per Salary Packaging allows you to payfor your expenses from your salary before tax is taken out.
