Psychologist | School based | Special Education Needs The role
In this full time ongoing position (time fraction negotiable for the right candidate) you will work as a psychologist as part of a multidisciplinary team in a school setting. The team comprises of psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and is a close knit and supportive team where coaching in to the area of special education needs is provided, through peer mentorship, supervision, professional development.
In this role no 2 days look the same, you will work alongside teaching staff in classrooms, independently consulting students, providing learning and development for paretns as well as teachers in the area of mental health in a special education context.
The school is a specialist P-12 school delivering highly individualised educational programs for students with disabilities, high support needs and/or developmental challenges. The school community is committed to providing individualised, challenging and rewarding learning experiences for all students within their care, ensuring their unique learning needs are met and their full potentials reached.
