To be successful in this role you'll need: Experience working with maintenance requirements in aged care, retirement, schools or similarMinor repairs in walls, such as patching holes, repainting, installing grab railsPlumbing repairs, such as changing tap washers, fixing leaks,unblocking toilets, IT savvy - also small appliance, TV & Internet connectionsHandyman tasks such as repairing furniture, hanging shelves, maintaining the oiling of timber decks as required, cleaning stormwater grates once every 6 weeksCleaning the carpark area on a regular basis-gurney once per month, garbage chutes and bin rooms on a regular basis-gurneyonce per monthRecycling cardboard using the Bailer Machine, managing the removal and collection of garbage bins as often asrequiredIdeally Trade certifiedHighly computer literate, provide works costs estimates, logging and attending to work orders through an online systemExcellent communication skills, ability to prioritise and be organiseKnowledge and understanding of WH&S requirements essentialIT savvy -TV & Internet connectionsCurrent unrestricted Class C NSW Drivers LicenseFully COVID vaccinatedWilling to complete a Police checkNDIS clearance or willing to obtain Catholic Healthcare is a leading not-for-profit provider of residential aged care, home and community services, retirement living across NSWand SE QLD.
