Come, join Medtronic and help us in Engineering the Extraordinary! Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It is focused on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional EP products. A Day in the Life In your role as Business Development Manager you will enjoy the opportunity to engage and influence sales, marketing and clinical education teams to position Medtronic and the Cardiac Ablation Solutions business, as a valuable and trusted partner to our customers and leverage the strengths to enable many more patients to benefit from our technologies, solutions, and services. This is an individual contributor role based in our Head Office in Macquarie Park. Responsibilities Include Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with hospital, government and payer stakeholders and healthcare professionals. Responsible for launch excellence & execution of Medtronic Cardiac Ablation technologies. Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximise customer experience. Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities. Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed. Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing. Coordinates team to launch products successfully from concept to implementation. Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related disciplines Demonstrated experience and success in sales or marketing roles within medical devices industry Significant experience in electrophysiology specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience Willingness to travel as required to manage business priorities across the assigned region.
