On the University of Queensland Electrical Maintenance Contract, UGL is the lead contractor for preventative and corrective maintenance, and project work on various UQ sites throughout QLD. Based at UQ's St Lucia campus, you get to work at state-of-the-art facilities.

The Opportunity A new role to support growth, you will be charged with overseeing minor works and asset replacement upgrades providing overall engineering and administrative coordination ensuring the projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements.

Interpreting, planning, coordinating, and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.Develop and review electrical designs, schematics, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.

Active management and liaising with site-based personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards, and implications for project accountabilities

Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.Work within the project team to assist with procurement activities.Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budgetRequirements to be successful. Drawing on your experience with LV & MV projects you will enjoy fostering strong relationships whilst taking a proactive approach in delivering accurate information.

Tertiary Engineering QualificationMinimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineering running jobs.Project Controls knowledge and delivery skills (Contract administration, forecasting and schedule development and management)CPEng & RPEQ qualifications are a bonus but not essential.
