Executive Level 1 - Assistant Director, Medicine Shortages SectionThe Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is seeking an Executive Level 1 Assistant Director to join the Medicine Shortages Section.
The Assistant Director will be a leader focussed on the management of medicine shortages in an appropriate, efficient and sensitive manner. They will work in a small team to undertake shortage management actions in line with our legislation and internal policies. They will need to exercise sound judgement and problem solving skills, and be able to adapt swiftly and flexibly to change.
The Assistant Director will also be involved in identifying opportunities for business improvement activities within the Section and Branch.
To be eligible for this position applicants must hold a a degree in pharmacy, pharmacology, medicine, nursing, pharmaceutical science, biology or other relevant science from an Australian tertiary institution, or comparable overseas qualifications.
Demonstrated knowledge of the use of medicines in various clinical or therapeutic settings in Australia would be well regarded.
