Release Engineering Manager

Position Overview: As the Release Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team of Release engineers, driving the development and implementation of robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our release strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and maintaining a reliable and efficient development and deployment environment. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of Release engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance the software development and deployment processes. Oversee version control systems and ensure effective collaboration among development teams. Manage build and release processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources. Develop and manage deployment pipelines for applications and services across different environments. Evaluate, implement, and manage container and container management solutions for scalable and efficient deployment. Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing strategic insights to improve our DevOps practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development, operations, and security requirements. Oversee the integration of cloud technologies, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in DevOps with a focus on CI/CD, version control, build and release processes, deployment pipelines, IaC, containerization, automation, and cloud technologies. Proven experience managing and leading high-performing DevOps teams. Strong expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Proficient in version control systems such as Git. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible. Solid understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
