Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and professional registration with SPA.
  • Experience delivering evidence based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and/or adult caseload.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient and effective manner.
  • An understanding of the NDIS framework and working within a fee for service model is desired.
  • Be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills – written, oral and listening.
  • Be computer literate and familiar with using customer record systems.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) or willingness to obtain one.
  • QLD Working With Children check (Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Access to use of own vehicle, if pool car not available (KM reimbursement available)
