Job Title: Energy and Utility Domain Director - IT Services Overview:We're in search of a driven and seasoned Energy and Utility Domain Director to join Birlasoft's vibrant team. Your role will be pivotal in crafting business growth through domain driven solutions for Energy and Utility Industry vertical. You'll spearhead key initiatives, fostering business transformation for our esteemed Energy and Utility clients. This position demands a profound grasp of the Energy and Utility landscape and steering building of Industry solution Responsibilities: Domain DevelopmentBased on business strategy, lead the ENU domain strategy for Birlasoft to build differentiation in offerings, solutions and narrative, drive domain-led consulting and in turn build deeper and more value-based relationships with the customers. Domain strategy should also lead to improved branding, revenue streams and profitability in ENU for Birlasoft. Key Initiatives ExecutionLeading the execution of strategic initiatives which could include domain capability development, IP development, supporting large deals, and/or providing leadership for critical customer engagements. Business Transformation:Lead interdisciplinary teams in pinpointing opportunities for business transformation and operational enhancement within Energy and Utility entities. Employ industry expertise and best practices to devise and execute strategic endeavors aimed at streamlining processes, refining product development lifecycles, and propelling digital evolution. Technology Enablement:Engage with clients to harness technology solutions and digital platforms to tackle key business challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the Energy and Utility domain. Offer proficiency in areas like cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and IoT to foster innovation and bolster operational efficacy. Client Engagement:Act as a trusted advisor to Energy and Utility clients, cultivating robust relationships and delivering value-added services aligned with their strategic aims and business imperatives. Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their challenges, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and devise bespoke solutions that drive business value. Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as business, engineering, or economics. Advanced degree preferred.· At least two years of experience in strategy consulting or management consulting within the Energy and Utility domain.· Comprehensive understanding of the Energy and Utility landscape, encompassing industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory requisites, and competitive terrain.· Proven track record of spearheading business transformation initiatives, strategic planning, and technology enablement projects within Energy and Utility entities.· Robust analytical skills with the capability to distill intricate information, identify insights, and formulate data-driven recommendations.· Superlative communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for fostering rapport with clients, influencing stakeholders, and facilitating constructive dialogues.· Robust project management acumen, including the capacity to concurrently manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities.· Familiarity with IT solutions and cutting-edge digital technologies pertinent to the Energy and Utility sector, such as Digital/Cloud/AI, ERP systems.
