Title: Advanced/Senior SQL DeveloperLocation: Hyderabad'/ Bangalore (Hybrid)Job description: Apptad is looking for an Advanced/Senior SQL developer-It is a Full-time/long term opportunity with us.ResponsibilitiesSkilled in developing and producing SQL queriesAbility to utilize SQL and Java to deliver reporting requirementsReview, scrub and validate data to produce queries for internal stakeholdersAbility to work with team members while working remotely to determine requirements and provide deliverables within agreed upon timelinesWilling to invest the time necessary to understand complex databases to provide accurate and consistent queries and reportingHave the capacity to work with significant amounts of information, extract relevant information, draw logical conclusions, and disseminate with attention to detail and accuracyTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, organization, and segmentation techniquesMake recommendations on how to reduce and eliminate repetitive tasks through automationStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholdersStrong IT and mathematical skillsMaintain the SQL databaseHelp create and test SQL statements for data presentation and further automationSetting up and monitoring routine maintenance SQL jobs and developing / maintaining an alert strategy(s) for failed jobs and database problems and/or failuresModify / update T-SQL scripts for importing and organizing dataManage daily / monthly data and reporting processes automated through SQL Server agentWork closely with analysts and other department personnel in advising best SQL coding practicesQualifications and Experience5-6 years of SQL experienceBS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Management or StatisticsStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Tableau, etc.),databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.) PRB
