Solution Architect- Finance

Job purpose: Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability.Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.Build and maintain strong relationship with functional, commercial and plant controllers (globally) and becomes a trusted advisor for business processes covered in own area of expertise.Lead and/or participate in projects covering the SAP FICO domain including integration with other SAP modules and applications.At Nouryon, our global team of Changemakers takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. About the job (Job Responsibilities):Supports demand management in writing project charters and translation into detailed requirements - in line with the IPM project methodology.Translates business requirements into solutions and/or solution directions.Defines, agrees and communicates the roadmap for the applications in scope.Reviews impact assessment and solution directions for change requests.Keeps IM documentation and CMDB up-to-date for the business processes and applications in scope.Ensure quality and consistency with template design for deployments - check of designs and build.Supports the testing and training activities for CR's and in projects.Contributes to and initiates continuous improvement activities.Key Activities: Leads and/or participates in IM projects in different roles e.g. project manager, lead solution architect, finance project consultant or QA role.Supports IM Services FAM team in handling MyIT tickets in line with the IM Operating ModelSupports Finance business leads and other stakeholders regarding IT related topics ExperiencesBackground: SAP Consulting or Finance business role (e.g. financial controller).Professional with around 7-10 years of experience in the IT sector including at least 5 years in the SAP Controlling domain.We believe you bring (Education & Experience) Master's degree in business management, computer science, or a related field of study Competencies:Taking ResponsibilityPrioritizing & Organizing workImpactful reportingEmbedding ChangeCoordinating between different business and IT functions Skills:Good communicator and influencer: Ability to influence internal and external parties and communicate clearly in at different levels. Fluent in written and spoken English.Used to working in a global environment and familiar with regional specifics.Knowledge of / experience with the manufacturing / process industry.Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new trends and technologies, especially in the SAP ecosystem.Business process modelling and application architecture design (logical and physical) - frameworks (TOGAF), tools, technologies, methodologies.Strong analytical skills over multiple technical domains to identify opportunities and solutions.Solves problems using knowledge, experience and analysis of available information.Ability to remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices, as well as to be more interested in results than in personal preferences.Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, technology platforms and business domains with relevant experience in SAP Controlling (Expertise area: Product Costing, COPA, CCA/PCA, Project Systems).Hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation projects and programs.Knowledge of and experience in financial planning processes is a strong pre.Preferably also has knowledge of areas integrating to procurement, sales, production, and management reporting.Preferably knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI and/or other management reporting tools.
