Our offices are in Navi Mumbai, this role is hybrid and will require someone to be office based 4 days per week.About the Role:This role entails building and leading a team of up to 40 people in the field of media analysis and curation. The team will analyse published media content for entity mentions, topics and themes relevant to Onclusive's global enterprise client base. The analytics team will deliver structured data to an internal team of 150 insight consultants base in Europe and the US. You will be the most senior member of the business unit with ultimate responsibility for successful service delivery. You will be the key point of contact for the global directors of the Insights practice, with responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of data to all end-user markets. You will maintain open communication and transparency with in-market management colleagues, addressing workload and deadline concerns promptly. This role requires a start-up mentality as you will be building and leading a large team to support the future global growth of Onclusive's Insights practice.Your responsibilities:You will oversee recruitment of 6 team leaders, who will be your direct reports. Each team leader will recruit and manage a team of up to ten analysts. Recruitment of analysts will be managed by the team leaders, with your oversight. You will have approval on all hiring decisions.You will define and oversee the implementation of project management and internal working practices and quality assurance standards.Manage and guide the day-to-day operational aspects of media analysis coding and curation.Senior escalation point for all coding/curation service issues.People ManagementDirectly manage up to 6 Team Leaders and a dotted team of 40+ analystsDevelop KPI to monitor the team's performance, promote continuous development of skills and create improvement plans for under-performers.Service standards and improvementDefine and deliver service quality standards.Identify, plan, and execute service improvement initiatives.Project and Cost ManagementOversee the workflow and distribution of media analysis coding/curation projects across the teams.Liaise with the in-market Insights leaders on the setup and handover of new projects to the Team Leaders/coding teams.Ensure records are kept up to date in CRM/project management software.Track all costs associated with the team and report back when requested.Responsible for recruitment, screening, testing, and appointment of high calibre individuals across all positions.Create and implement a training schedule with the Team Leaders to ensure all new recruits have a thorough, consistent and smooth onboarding experience.Foster daily open communication and transparency with the in-market Insights teams.Address any issues or concerns with workload/deadlines promptly.Who you are:Excellent spoken and written English. Other main European languages an advantage.Experience of managing a data processing team and knowledge of reputation analysis are both essential to the role.Proven track record of managing a team of 20+ employeesProject management skills, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects within budget and deadlines.Advanced knowledge of MS suite including Excel, Power BI, PowerpointAbility to learn new software packages, including Onclusive's in-house coding appsSelf-starter attitude with proven ability to motivate and empower others.The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across multiple online platforms (emails, Microsoft Teams, project management software)A proven interest in media culture & understanding of the global corporate news agendaWhat we can offer:We are a global fast growing company which offers a variety of opportunities for you to develop your skill set and career.
