The successful candidate's role will be as an BIM Engineer within WSP in India producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to Team Lead in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.Responsibilities• Ability to understand Project Requirements and develop accurate Design for each Project' Stage.• Perform calculations, read/write markups, and develop Design using BIM Processes.• Participate in Design Review and Clash resolution processes/meetings.• Creation of BIM/CAD deliverables up to LOD350, Clash Detection Reports, Construction Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D), Asset Management BIM Implementation (COBie), e-Specs implementation.• Assist on managing and coordinating the overall use of BIM within the Units and for the multidisciplinary Projects.• Coordination and management of BIM Models within his/her discipline and across disciplines.• Ensuring compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans.• Use checklists set-up for quality control on each deliverable and submitting work according to deadlines.• Ability to assemble composite design models for coordination meetings.• Ability to work on Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of engineering design deliverables.• Identify conflicts with Architectural, Structural, and other MEP design elements and present well thought-out and cost-effective solutions.• Ability to coordinate, manage, and solve BIM Issues online (BIM360, BIM Track, etc.) or with Navisworks.• Identify and detect any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.• Hands-on capabilities on Setting up Project Files, Creation of Templates, High Level BIM Families (or CAD blocks), Shared Parameters, Scheduling, Coordinates acquisition, etc.• Assisting the BIM Coordinator/Lead in their tasks (where required).• Demonstrating a proactive approach to learning new digital design tools.Key Competencies / Skills5 Years of relevant experience in the role.• Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Revit BIM authoring tool.• Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage.• Mandatory proficiency on BIM360 Environment.• Excellent English communication skills.• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.• Proficiency on MagiCAD and Dynamo scripting tools would be of advantage.QualificationsBachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science,Bachelor of Science (Honours), Bachelor of TechnologyMaster of Technology, Master of Engineering.
