Role - Bid Centre ManagerRole Purpose:Provide sound commercial support to the Bid Management Process. This involves preparation and development of commercial bids, process compliance & contractual adherenceThe Successful ApplicantAn ideal candidate with -· Accounting Degree. CMA / ICWA preferred· Experience with contract terms and conditions including negotiations.· Sound technical and analytical skills· Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Macros· Ability to prioritize and multi-task· Good written and verbal communication skills· Attention to detail· Positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work autonomously in a team environment· Vibrant personality who will be able to work easily with their peers· Minimum 7-8 years post qualification experience within commercial accounting environmentKey Accountabilities in the role -Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and Legal, to ensure that all required information is included in the RFP response.To deliver Commercial support during the Bid Process including:Ø Accurate and timely Bid Model completion.Ø Ensuring all aspects of the RFP/RFT are costed.Ø Preparing group approval requirements.Ø First time right bid input managementPreparing commercials to be submitted as a part of response to RFP.Determining margins and profitability on the quotation for internal reviews and presenting to the leadershipDetailed financial analysis of commercials being submitted to client to ensure win-win situation for client and company.· ReportingØ MAP Reporting for New Business Wins & PipelineØ Review of project actual financial performance against contractØ Ensure all information is up to date through the Bid and Retention processØ Reporting to relevant stakeholders of information heldØ Bid process compliance reporting· Interaction with internal stakeholders like sales team and Business Leaders to ensure Commercial benefits.· Using analytics to create action plans that are based off data and statistics, and interpreting results against the targets.· Assisting Internal and External Stakeholders. Including but not limited to:Ø Supporting Approvals process (Internal & Group)Ø Facilitate Proposal Management, Plan completion, distributed and timelines metØ Daily liaison with Sales/Ops Team to ensure accurate and efficient supply of contractual information· Accurate & Timely Production of Bid Model:Ø Bid Model preparation.Ø Obtain and update Bid Model Assumptions on a regular basisØ Offer solutions to enhance project performance· General GuidelinesØ A positive ambassador for company reward & recognition programsØ Model high standards of performance and behaviorØ Develop a positive industrial relations climateSkills & ExperienceDesirable· Experience in financial model and commercial review desired not mandatory· Experience in food service Operations is desirable though not mandatoryAbout the organizationWe love what we do - providing great food and support services to millions of people every day.We pride ourselves on our ability to provide clients with a wide range of innovative food solutions.
