Accounting Team Lead

QpiAI, a vertically integrated Quantum and AI company is looking for a lead accountant to handle the finance operations and accounting. We are a profitable start up in the AI and Quantum space. Candidate should be a quaified CA with 2-3 years of experience in a reputed firm in similar role. Lead Accountant - QpiAI India Pvt Ltd Key Responsibility but not limited to:-· Work on local internal audits, reporting, direct/indirect tax payments, direct/indirect tax assessments and support the finance director in the same.· Work on Indirect tax reconciliation and filings (GST Compliance) · Prepare, coordinate and execute workpapers for global tax reporting matters - For subsidiaries in USA and other countries.· Prepare tax provision on a quarterly basis including current tax provision, deferred tax provision etc.· Prepare and finalize income tax returns, deferred tax calculations and effective tax rate reconciliation as per Indian Accounting Standards (IND -AS)· Support Director Finance in preparing Provisional Financials, communication with banks etc.· Supporting the Finance Director with overall financial budgeting and management · Responsible for internal audit of accounts· Maintaining QPiAI's accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, posting transactions, reconciling entries, balancing bank ledgers· Reconciliations of monthly activity, generating monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports,· Fulfilling tax related requirements· Monthly Invoicing for customers and keeping track of AR · Uploading payment file for vendors and employee salaries · Raising PO though approval for vendors · Putting up project proposals for approval of CEO, GMs and Finance Director · Monthly PT, PF payment and filing· Advance Tax Payment· Payroll for employees PRB
