About the Role RoleSummary:Experienced Risk Reporting Technology Developer with implementation expertise in one or more Reporting platforms such as Workiva, Axiom. In this role you will apply your technical expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders daily. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects, you use data and analysis and apply your experience, judgment, and risk mindset across your responsibilities. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.Skills & Competencies:Experience creating end to end data pipelines as well as CI/CD pipelines for applications deliveryExperience in Risk reporting and SaaS application such as Workiva is a must haveExperience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databasesExperience with major public cloud offerings and how to solution designs that are built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar) would be a plus WorkExperience:4+ years of experience as a developer, experience in object-oriented languages like Java, Informatica or other ETL tools, and PL/SQL is required2+ years of experience on Workiva application is strongly preferred, with in depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and SaaS Application infrastructure strongly preferred3+ years of experience with Python coding is requiredStrong knowledge in data warehousing and experience in mapping techniques for Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 DimensionsExperience in Windows Server, Linux / Unix scripting, Autosys or similar job scheduling toolsExtensive experience in debuggingSolid experience in implementing business requirements, error handling, issue investigation and resolution for supported applications.Expertise in analysis of functional specificationsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing prioritiesPrior experience in banking / financial services industry is desirableRole Description:Design, implement, and support Reporting on Workiva application.Key responsibilities include technical support for the analysts and users, such as defect analysis, patch testing, requirements analysis and implement configurations & develop reports on Axiom platform as assignedWork within a disciplined change-and-configuration management environment to maintain control over the development and introduction of new functions to the operationsInfluence the change control team on best practices of handling code migrations between environmentsHelp define the coding standards for the entire applicationDevelop detail-level design documents from functional requirements and adhere to the development and naming standards establishedCreate technical design documents, build exhibits and custom templates on Workiva and experience in SQL queries is a must haveTroubleshoot production issues and performance tuning of various componentsWork with various IT teams including Infrastructure, DBAs, Informatica Admins, Operations, and technology support teams.Participate in the rollout of any changes to the production environment and the setting of new standards using change control, documentation, and full communication with the operations and supportDocumentation of all development and ensuring the offshore support team does that sameSecond level support for development/production support issue ATS
