Every component included in the Package (e.g. pump, compressor, valve, vessel, electric motor, Instrument, control system, etc) is important for the functioning of the unit as a whole system. Package Section is in charge of the management of Package Units on Proposals, FEED and EPC Projects.The candidate will initially manage the inquiry, the procurement and the detailed engineering phase of simple Units. Inside the Package Units, she/he will therefore progressively manage more complex Package Unit.Main Key interactions of the Package Engineer are Internally with Project teams, Procurement, Construction and others engineering disciplines. Externally with clients, vendors, suppliers.About the Job• Independently handle the requisitions for various process and utility packages• Preparation of Data sheets, Specifications and material Requisitions• Preparation of Technical Bid evaluation by vendor offers review, raising Technical clarifications and brining out resolutions• Co-ordination with inter disciplines for various requisitions• Co-ordination and discussion with Vendors and Client• Vendor document management• Shop / site inspection and Field Engineering co-ordination..Responsibilities would be :• ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;• prepare the material requisition for inquiry;• technical analysis of receipt Bids;• Conduct technical clarification meetings with suppliers / manufacturers• prepare the material requisition for purchase;• Monitor the technical execution of the equipment purchase order by reviewing supplier / manufacturer documentation ensuring proper communication with vendors• adhere to the committed man/hours and budget;• ensure timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer;• meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;• interface with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.• Be the main contact for OEMs / manufacturers• Participate in the manufacturer's workshop testsAbout You:• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering.• It is appreciating a previous experience with minimum 4-12 years in Oil &Gas or similar environment; Shop/Site experience and Knowledge of Industrial Plant.Inclusion StandardsIn our continuous journey to developing and building culture of inclusion, we adhere to four Inclusion Gold Standards.
