Role SummaryVeolia Water Technologies & Solutions has an opening for an Asset Integrity (Corrosion Control) Lead Researcher in Energy & Chemicals Solutions division that focuses on Research & Development of Oil & Gas Production, Transportation, Refinery, and Petrochemical Process Chemicals. This position is a laboratory scientist position where the successful candidate will be performing chemical bench work as the principal duties of the job, with a focus on asset integrity applications and solutions.Essential Responsibilities / ExpectationsEffectively engage in research, development and commercialization of innovative treatment programs for hydrocarbon processing in Oil & Gas Production, Refining, and Petrochemicals applications, targeting Asset Protection/Corrosion InhibitionDevelop and perform customized lab test methods to evaluate chemical product efficacies for different process applications, preventing corrosion.Establish specifications and physical testing requirements for new products based on application needsIn depth knowledge of Application say, Refining and Product knowledge say, Corrosion InhibitorsCommunicate research results to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentationsExecute assigned New Product Introduction (NPI)/ Ready-to-Serve (RTS)/Direct Material Productivity (DMP) with greater understanding through novel ideas and data generation.Contribute and participate to new idea generation (NPIs)Assess and validate market needs through direct interactions with external and internal customers including Product Applications, Solution Architect, and Sales teams; travel up to 20% of the time may be required.Management of 2 to 3 projects simultaneouslyInteract with vendors and clients and provide support to commercial, field service, product management, supply chain throughout the product development lifecycle.Participate in End-Customer interactions, field visits and enabling technical discussions with product applicationExperience Required (Min - Max year): ~5 to 8 Years of hands-on lab experienceEducational QualificationMaster's or Ph D in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Science, or other related discipline PRB
