Security Certification Engineer / Software Engineer / Staff Software Engineer / Principal Engineer - SDV (Software Defined Vehicle)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Security Certification Specialist to join our development team and play a crucial role in ensuring the security compliance of our products.Position Overview:As a Security Certification Specialist, you will be responsible for navigating the complex landscape of security certifications, specifically focusing on WP R155/156, ISO 24089, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434. You will be a part of an in-vehicle development team, along with code development, your focus area would be security and compliance aspects of code.Responsibilities:Security Certification:Lead engineering team with respect to security certifications, including WP R155/156, ISO 24089, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434Stay updated on the latest security standards and regulations relevant to SDVEngineering:As a part of the development team you are expected to be involved in development of new featuresIntegrate security measures into the design and development processConduct security assessments for development team deliverablesCertification Process:Work with cross-functional teams during certification processDocumentation and Compliance:Develop and maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance with security standards.Ensure that SDV products adhere to security best practices.Awareness:Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the automotive security landscape.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related fieldsProven experience in managing security certifications, particularly WP R155/156, ISO 24089, and ISO 21434. ISO 26262 certification experience is a strong plus.5+ years of hands-on experience in C / C++ development. Hands on coding (at least 50% of time is expected to be spent in coding)System knowledge - ASIL B, C or D systemHand on experience on Linux, embedded Linux or QNXIn-depth knowledge of automotive security standards and best practices.Ability to analyze and interpret security requirements and translate them into actionable steps.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Experience:Previous experience working with SDV startups or in the automotive industry.Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant certifications related to automotive security.
