Senior Business System Analyst

Calian Digital Solutions is seeking a confident and experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our team, with expertise in process mapping, change management, and system implementation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI and have an extensive background of experience primarily revolving around driving process optimization and system enhancements to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand existing processes and conduct detailed mapping to identify inefficiencies.Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and drive collaborative initiatives.Lead change management for process improvements and system implementations, ensuring smooth transitions.Oversee internal implementations of 3rd party systems into the organization.Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to define requirements, configure systems, and oversee deployment processes.Conduct impact analysis, development of migration processes, and the comprehensive training required for successful adoption of new systems.Manage project lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance, ensuring on-time, in-scope, and budget-compliant delivery.Actively contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and systems.Leverage feedback and data insights to iterate on solutions and drive operational excellence.Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a more recent focus on process mapping, change management, and system implementation.A minimum of 3 years of experience working with clients in mid to large-scale projects.Able to comfortably interact with clients, understand their ideas and needs, and translate those needs into requirement understandings for technical teams.Strong organizational and analytics skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, preferably in an IT consulting environmentSelf Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in process mapping tools (ie. Visio, Lucidchart) and project management software (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).A strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.A University degree or College diploma in Computer Sciences or technology related major.Bonus Qualifications:A business analysis and/or project management certification (PMP, CBAP, etc.)Familiarity with AI technologies and capabilities is considered a majorly desirable asset for the long-term trajectory of this role.More specifically, a background in or understanding of AI Optimization and best practices and proven experience leveraging AI to optimize business processes.Experience with CRM systems (ie.
