Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Belfast, are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Accounts Manager to join an exceptional team. Your new role As a Senior Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch financial solutions to our diverse portfolio of clients - this will include managing the client portfolio on their services including Tax, VAT, Audit, Corporate Finance and Insolvency and liaising with the practice's specialists to complete workload to deadlines. This role will also include line management of staff. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery. Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of financial statements, tax returns, and other statutory reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert financial guidance tailored to their specific needs. Conduct detailed financial analysis, identifying opportunities for growth, cost-saving measures, and risk mitigation strategies. Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, ensuring our clients receive cutting-edge advice and solutions. What you'll need to succeed Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Accounts Manager within an accountancy practice or similar environment. Extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Exceptional client relationship management abilities. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) is preferred.
