AVP/VP (Treasury Planning)

Overview of Division/Department Based out of Singapore, Mizuho Bank's Asia & Oceania Treasury Department (AOTD) oversees FX & Derivatives Sales, Trading, ALM and Macroeconomic/Market Research for Asia (outside of Japan and Greater China). Job Responsibilities - Support AOTD in activities relating to planning, operational, administrative, regulatory and compliance matters. - Co-ordinate and liaise with various internal and external counterparties on regulatory, compliance and administrative matters - Take on ad-hoc projects on the business as required. Work well independently and as team member. - Contribute ideas and strategies to improve treasury operations. Job Requirements - Degree holder with at least three years of experience in banking industry and preferably familiar with various procedures and operation of Mizuho Bank. - Able to work independently and also as a team member and able to communicate effectively and interact confidently across all levels. - Highly motivated to work in both challenging environment and routine tasks.
