Job details

Perform installation, operations and maintenance of TCFs;
Perform TCF tasks IAW SPIN-C, DISA Circularand DISA policies and procedures;
Fabricate, troubleshoot and repair interfaces on technical control equipment
Provide O&M of primary and auxiliary equipment to support TCF operations including but not limited to:
Routers and switches.
NET Promina.
Cryptographic equipment.
NRZ to CDI converters.
Patch panels and maintenance panels.
Modems to include Canoga Perkins and Pargain.
Global Positioning System (GPS) time and frequency systems.
Firebird 6000/8000, TBERD 6000/5800, cable testers, multimeter, and oscilloscope.
Network monitoring suites (SolarWinds).
Other equipment and cabling necessary to support signal routing and processing.
Mandatory Requirements: Education: High School diploma or GED DoD 8570.01-Manual IAT Category/Specialty: IAT-II Certification: CCNA Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in: installing new communications circuits; solving complex problems, understanding the interrelationships of circuits and ability to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
At least 2 years of experience in activating new TCF circuits within equipment: NET Promina; KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries; Cisco Routers/Switches; Patch panels/maintenance panels; fiber optic modems and interface cards; AND
At least years of experience in circuit actions at the base, camp, station, MAJCOM, unified command or component level

<b>Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Perform Level II Repair and Maintenance activities of LWD Tools and provide<br />
leadership to an R&M service team.<br />
<br />
4.1 Performs all duties associated with R&M Technician - LWD I and LWD II (as necessary)<br />
4.2 Organizes all Technician Team Members daily roles and duties as per location demands<br />
4.3 Supervises the work of all technicians on the R&M service team, including processes, procedures,<br />
paperwork accuracy, safety, etc.<br />
4.4 Mentors R&M Technicians -LWD II, LWD I and LWD Trainees<br />
4.5 Assists R&M Technicians - LWD II, LWD I and R&M Supervisor - LWD in their roles when<br />
necessary<br />
4.6 Coordinates with R&M Supervisor - LWD to plan daily equipment priorities and service requirements<br />
4.7 Performs an accurate and timely preliminary R&M failure analysis and provides to R&M Supervisor -<br />
LWD<br />
4.8 Reports inventory and asset issues to R&M Supervisor - LWD<br />
4.9 Maintains all workshop equipment and tools, ensures they are kept in good condition; all calibrations<br />
and certifications are up to date; and the documentation for both is kept.<br />
4.10 Maintains a clean and safe work environment, keeping it efficiently organized, and equipped with<br />
necessary supplies and tools.<br />
4.11 Verifies required service records and documentation prepared by technician team are completed<br />
accurately and kept up to date, electronic copies are online and hard copies filed.<br />
4.12 Utilizes all Service Delivery Quality management systems including service records pertaining to<br />
service line R&M applications (IMARKS, SAP, Reliability, NCRs, PFTs, TPFTs,CRs, etc.).<br />
4.13 Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints<br />
of the job.<br />
4.14 Demonstrates a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.<br />

<p >A TRS Technician is responsible for safely and professionally operating casing running equipment at various rig/field sites, and providing maintenance and repair to company's equipment to keep it in working condition and in compliance with manufacturer's and company's quality standards.</p>

<p ><strong >Essential functions</strong></p>

<ul >
	<li >Have an extensive knowledge of the components and functionality of Tubular Running Service (TRS) Manual Handling Equipment, Power Equipment, Bucking Units and Thread Monitoring Systems as it applies to the assigned business segment.</li>
	<li >Handle and operate casing running equipment, including: casing running tools, power tongs, elevators, power slips, control panels, and hydraulic power units.</li>
	<li >Work with hand tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment</li>
	<li >Rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig.</li>
	<li >Communicate clearly and professionally with all rig, customer, and Parker Wellbore personnel.</li>
	<li >Act as trainer for Service Technicians I and II</li>
	<li >Prepare delivery tickets, job reports, time-sheets, and other administrative forms</li>
	<li >Independently test, operate, maintain, and trouble shoot company equipment and tools</li>
	<li >Assist maintenance supervisor and TRS Lead with special maintenance assignments</li>
	<li >Prepare and dispatch equipment according to checklist procedures</li>
	<li >Have extensive knowledge of the company products and services, and propose continuous improvement initiatives</li>
	<li >Maintain a safe working environment by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), checking the tools and equipment, keeping the work area neat, organized and free of hazards, and following Parker Wellbore Life Saving Rules, as well as location-specific and customer QHSSE Policies and Procedures.</li>
	<li >Accountable for safe operation of all Parker Wellbore equipment.</li>
	<li >Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.</li>
	<li >Reporting hazards on location, with equipment and other work place, or short comings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.</li>
	<li >Make recommendations for the safe execution of the job and report any unsafe acts, near misses, or incidents.</li>
	<li >Attend all customer and Parker Wellbore QHSSE meetings, safety training, equipment training, and medical checks as required</li>

<p >A TRS Technician is responsible for safely and professionally operating casing running equipment at various rig/field sites, and providing maintenance and repair to company's equipment to keep it in working condition and in compliance with manufacturer's and company's quality standards.</p>

	<li >Understand the basics and functionality of Tubular Running Service (TRS) Manual Handling Equipment, Power Equipment, Bucking Units and Thread Monitoring Systems as it applies to the assigned business segment.</li>
	<li >Handle and operate casing running equipment, including: casing running tools, power tongs, elevators, power slips, control panels, and hydraulic power units.</li>
	<li >Work with hand tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment</li>
	<li >Rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig.</li>
	<li >Communicate clearly and professionally with all rig, customer, and Parker Wellbore personnel.</li>
	<li >Maintain a safe working environment by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), checking the tools and equipment, keeping the work area neat, organized and free of hazards, and following Parker Wellbore Life Saving Rules, as well as location-specific and customer QHSSE Policies and Procedures.</li>
	<li >Accountable for safe operation of all Parker Wellbore equipment.</li>
	<li >Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.</li>
	<li >Reporting hazards on location, with equipment and other work place, or short comings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.</li>
	<li >Make recommendations for the safe execution of the job and report any unsafe acts, near misses, or incidents.</li>
	<li >Attend all customer and Parker Wellbore QHSSE meetings, safety training, equipment training, and medical checks as required</li>
