In this role, you will manage a team of engineers and work closely with the rest of the engineering organization to build the SaaS platform. In this technical, front-line management position, you will simultaneously manage various ongoing efforts, including feature development, defect analysis, resolution, and software release management. You will work on cutting-edge technology of Containers and GoLang with a highly collaborative team that will help you learn and grow in your knowledge of SaaS platforms.You're the ideal candidate if you are a technically driven manager who has experience working with large, distributed teams, and driving solutions and deliveries on schedule and with quality.What you'll do:Provide technical direction to engineers, which are comprised of developers and leadsDesign and implement timely, high-quality software solutions to customer issues for Infoblox core productsWork on features from concept to release through all phases of development, including functional, design specifications, implementation, unit, performance, and scalability testingWork closely with various cross-functional product teamsMentor and guide junior engineersMonitor the team's daily tasks and track and deliver key initiatives and projectsManage all aspects of software development, including requirement gathering, design, development, and testing of softwareManage customer issues, escalations, and tracking customer SLAs closelyEnsure the team complies with quality standardsCoordinate and communicate with clients and internal stakeholdersStay current on key trends, especially in technologies and frameworks like Containers, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS Cloud, etc.What you'll bring:8+ years of experience in software development Experience in microservices architecture and container-based software using Kubernetes, Docker, and other container technologies is a huge plusExperience in Go programming languageExperience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.) is a plusKnowledge of DNS protocol and general networking conceptsKnowledge of Unix/Linux environmentsExperience working on an agile development processFull software development life-cycle experience with a proven track record of shipping softwareResults-oriented with a solid work ethic and excellent attention to detail and qualityExperience with DNS, DHCP is a strong plusBachelor's degree (required) or master's degree (preferred) in CS, CE, or EEWhat success looks like:After six months, you will…Own and drive several large modulesManage a medium-sized teamAfter About a Year, You Will…Own and drive a significant part of the Infoblox SaaS platformManage a large team distributed across geographiesWe've got you covered:Our holistic benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness—as well as a great work environment, employee programs, and company culture.
