Job descriptionWe are seeking skilled Desktop Support Engineers to provide technical assistance and support for our organization's desktop computing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop services for end-users.Job Location: Gurgaon Experience: 2Years Qualifications: GraduationResponsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software applications.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as necessary.Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner, adhering to established SLAs.Document all support activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolution details.Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.Assist in the development and implementation of desktop support policies, procedures, and best practices.Provide training and guidance to end-users on desktop-related topics and technologies.Soft Skills:Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users, understand their problems, and provide clear and concise solutions.Problem-solving: Ability to logically analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Attention to detail: Being meticulous and observant to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues.Documentation: Ability to document technical procedures and solutions clearly and concisely for future reference.Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other IT professionals to resolve complex issues.
