This technical lead role involves creating software architecture designs implementing UI using multiple technologies, this role will be involved in preparing engineering estimates, develop solutions, verify the solutions, and continuously manage the development progress. The ideal candidate is someone, who is passionate about world class software development and giving technical leadership to development team with demonstrated ability to collaborate, process improvements, driving change and adopt to latest technology. Responsibilities:Develop HMI using JAVA/Android for Precision Application product solutions. Create and refine software requirements to meet system requirements for Precision Farming Applications.Create SW architectures at feature level or subsystem level.Work independently and guide team members in day-to-day activities.Follow and help improve software development processes.Drive application performance and memory improvements.Analyze and root cause software issues found internally and externally. Develop software unit test scripts. Support development of software architecture documentation. Travel, as necessary, to local and global locations to resolve problems, explore design alternatives, reverse engineering, and provide information. Experience in software development process (Agile methodologies) Establish processes to ensure code quality. Participate in code reviews and create a quality culture. Ensure that software development team adheres to coding standards and meet stringent performance and safety requirements of real time embedded system.Estimate the costs, resources and time required for development projects.Analyze issues reported from integration/field testing (including production code) and provide required guidance to team to identify resolution in short time.Present project and improvement initiative status to management.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.Provide Technical Leadership to SW development team. Act as quality gate for SW deliverables by development team.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer science, Electronics Engineering10-15 years of HMI development experience in Embedded C++/Qt and Linux Experience is developing feature level architectures.Good hands-on experience with debugging & finding route cause.Hands on experience with Off-Road, Commercial Vehicle or Automotive products is preferred.Experience with methodologies, standards and industry practice in the development and documentation of vehicle architectures.Working knowledge of standard software architectures including real time OS, LINUX, AndroidWorking knowledge of industry standard tools Vector (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANdela)Strong working knowledge of configuration management systems, e.g. SVN, GITExperience in software development process (Agile methodologies)Experience in driving change, improvement, and team development.Previous program management & Agile experience highly desired.Experience building UI software solution catered for ECUs (preferably for automotive grade ECUs)Experience in driving change, improvement, and team development.Previous program management & Agile experience highly desired.Experience building core software solution catered for ECUs (preferably for automotive grade ECUs)Strong firmware debugging skills (call stack analysis, profiling, breakpoint evaluation, resource budget analysis as Flash, RAM, and CPU load)Experience with CAN based protocols such as J1939, XCP, KWP, UDS, communication tools Vector CANalayser, CANape, CANoe, INCA or similar.Experience working with memories (Flash, EEPROM, RAM, External memories), MMU etc.Experience working with real time operating system RTOS (Autosar OSEK or similar)Proficient at software design and requirements documentationKnowledge of configuration management tools such as SVN or similar, requirements tools (e.g., Polarion or similar)Travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in electrical, Computer or Software EngineeringHands-on experience with Off-Road, Commercial Vehicle or Automotive products. Experience with Precision Farming and Machine automation.Knowledge of Functional Safety concepts and software implementation in accordance with ISO25119, ISO13849, ISO26262Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and implementation PRB
