Location: Hyderabad, IndiaWork Mode: In OfficeExperience: Minimum 4 years in QA, including 3 years in performance testing Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer with expertise in JMeter-based load testing and a strong background in database and cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to join our team. This role involves conducting comprehensive performance testing of web applications, identifying bottlenecks in both application performance and database operations, and implementing optimizations to ensure high performance and scalability.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute sophisticated load tests using JMeter for web applications, incorporating database performance considerations.Analyze test results to identify performance issues and bottlenecks in application logic and database interactions.Implement performance-tuning strategies for both applications and databases to meet and exceed performance benchmarks.Utilize AWS or other cloud services to deploy and monitor scalable web application solutions, ensuring optimal performance.Monitor application and database performance in production using tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, and other monitoring solutions to ensure compliance with performance targets.Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate performance improvement practices into the software development lifecycle.Stay abreast of the latest in performance engineering, cloud technologies, and database optimization techniques. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong experience in performance testing and optimization of web applications, with expertise in JMeter.Proficiency in AWS or similar cloud platforms, with a good understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services.Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch, and a broad knowledge of performance monitoring solutions.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze performance data and identify improvement areas.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, SQL, etc., for automation and performance testing.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.This role is perfect for a detail-oriented Performance Engineer who is passionate about optimizing web application performance through comprehensive testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
