Senior webMethods Developer - API & webMethods

Position details:Role Summary:Independently responsible for the design and development of human workflow processes and system integration processes using SoftwareAg webMethods product stack.Independently responsible for the design and development of reusable APIs implementing security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications etc. for API management platform.Responsible for working closely with both business and technology partners to understand and document the integration and workflow requirements.Responsible for debugging production issues and production support of webMethods applications.Research and learn new technologies, do proof of concepts, and share knowledge with rest of the team.Responsible for operational reporting and health monitoring of the application.Skills & Competencies:Must have:5 years of hand-on coding experience with the following Software AG webMethods products: Process Engine (BPM), Task Engine, Integration Server (flow and Java services), MWS, Broker, Universal Messaging, Terracotta and Business Rules.Experience of API technologies, standards, and security: XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, SOAP/REST, WS SecurityStrong hand-on coding experience working in various webMethods adapters (JDBC, Flat file, SOAP, MQ, SMTP, SFTP etc)Experience in various integration architecture frameworksStrong in one or more of the following RDBMS: Postgresql, Oracle, DB2, SQL ServerStrong Linux and SQL skills.Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and communication skills.Nice to have:Knowledge of AWS Services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2) and AWS Databases (RDS, Aurora, etc.)Experience with Java development.Experience with SoftwareAg webMethods platform administration.Experience with Agile / Scrum model.
