Job title: Specialist - Payroll ComplianceWork Model: HybridWork location: HyderabadShift: 6pm -3amPayroll Specialist - Job Description:The individual will support daily operations of US Payroll, and projects and initiatives sponsored and/or supported by US Payroll that align with the business goals of the company at large. The individual will work directly with the Business Services Compliance & Analytics Manager in coordinating activities with other managers within Randstad as well as business areas, as deemed necessary. The individual will support US payroll operations by performing the following tasks: of changes to wage and hour legislation and partnering with IT and legal to program and test changes and provide company training on the sameand test internal controls for effectiveness and adherencecorporate and cross functional projects by providing subject matter expertise and testing system changes before production migrationsdepartment performance metrics with data supported insightsproduction support to processing teams servicing Tier 3 support resolving and/or diagnosing issues before they are transferred to ITTroubleshoot, identify and report any potential database issues Collaborate with functional and technical resources for system upgrades/fixes and provide SME support for testingAll project deadlines and ticket SLAs must be met. Any delays due to complexity of project/request or system restrictions must be communicated to the team manager in advance of the due date to reassess the timeline. Deliverables not met will be documented and reviewed bi-weekly. Deliverables must be met 95% of the time. User acceptance testing (UAT) to be completed within the sprint period (2 - 3 weeks) using the standard template, appropriate +/- scenarios, applicable support/validations, and ability to intelligently speak to change being tested and results. Manager and team review and feedback will be provided for each.100% adherence to federal, state, and local wage and labor laws. Any questions about the law or interpretations should be raised with the team, which may require escalation to Legal for review and advisement. Any Attention to detail and analysis must be applied to all outputs (ticket/email communications, reporting, prod support guidance, UAT, etc).Develop professional relationships within Business Services, support teams, and customer LOB OperationsAdhere to compliance and control protocol as defined by organization key control frameworkTo be successful in this role, you should have5+ years of experience in managing payroll domainStrong Problem Solving Skills with a Keen Eye/Execution for Process Improvement Ability to manage projects or assigned tasks without causing project delays or rescheduling of key data gathering sessionsAbility to perform sufficient analysis to understand and meet customer needsAbility to perform basic analysis on data extracts using automated tools i.e. SQL, Excel formulas, macros, etc)Application of skills acquired via in-house training and/or project support sessionsGood conceptual and hands on knowledge about Financial ProcessesStrong analytical and problem solving skills and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new thingsAbility to work within a team environment, manage business stakeholders and independently coordinate and deliver commitmentsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailTake initiative and utilize available resources to apply sound judgment and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues, often with limited standardizationExecute multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and exceed goals in high-pressure situationsAbility to prioritize deliverables, projects, and escalations in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, effective, and persuasive communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred (B.Com or MBA Finance)Should have the ability to go Micro or Macro as per business needMinimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience in payroll for large volume, multi-state, multi-frequency payroll (10,000+ payees)PeopleSoft or other HRMS human resources and payroll experienceStaffing industry experience preferredExperience interfacing with other teams and customers, providing positive customer experience, working through conflict or complex mattersAdvanced Excel and Google Suite experience requiredAbility to work flexible hours when neededabout RandstadRandstad is the world's largest talent company and a partner of choice to clients.
