Asst Manager(Operations)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Executive to join our dynamic team in the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the hiring, training, and maintenance of drivers and electric trucks to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our transportation services.Key Responsibilities:Driver Recruitment and Selection:Develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting qualified drivers.Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess driver skills, experience, and commitment.Collaborate with HR to ensure all hiring processes comply with company policies and regulations.Driver Training and Development:Design and execute comprehensive training programs for new and existing drivers.Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance driver skills, safety, and performance.Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Fleet Management:Oversee the maintenance and performance of electric trucks in the fleet.Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular servicing and repairs.Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.Performance Monitoring:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for drivers and monitor their performance regularly.Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Implement driver scorecard systems to track and reward performance excellence.Compliance and Regulation:Ensure all operations comply with relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and adapt operational procedures accordingly.Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Communication and Collaboration:Foster effective communication and collaboration between drivers, dispatchers, and other operational teams.Address and resolve any operational issues or disputes promptly and professionally.Work closely with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in operations management within the transportation industry.Strong knowledge of electric truck operations and maintenance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.Leadership and team management skills.How to Apply:Interested candidates can submit their resumes and cover letter to (kiran.krishnan@sagcindia.in).Please include " Application - Operations Executive, Bangalore" in the subject line.
