Our services include Ground Transportation, Brokerage/Logistics, Global Logistics Solutions, Last Mile Delivery, and Cartage Services.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Logistics Coordinator role based in Gurugram for early morning shift (6 AM - 3 PM). The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the shipment of goods, ensuring on-time delivery, and communicating with customers and vendors. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for managing relationships with drivers, carriers and suppliers and identifying opportunities to streamline logistics processes.Monitoring Shipments: Track shipments using various software systems and tools to ensure they are progressing according to schedule and meeting delivery deadlines.Communication: Maintain regular communication with drivers, carriers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status, delays, or any other relevant information.Problem Resolution: Identify and address any issues or discrepancies with shipments, such as delays, damages, or missing items, and work to resolve them promptly to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of all shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and other required paperwork, to comply with regulatory requirements and facilitate smooth transit.Data Analysis: Analyze tracking data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the tracking and tracing process, and provide recommendations for optimization.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, providing shipment updates, and addressing any concerns or questions from clients regarding their orders.Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulations and requirements related to shipping, customs, and transportation, and ensure all tracking and tracing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tracking and tracing processes, streamline operations, and improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.Documentation and Reporting: Generate regular reports on shipment status, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report to management or stakeholders as necessary.Risk Management: Identify potential risks or disruptions to shipments, such as weather-related issues, port congestion, or geopolitical events, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks and minimize their impact on operations.Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to other team members or stakeholders on tracking and tracing procedures, software systems, and best practices to ensure consistent and accurate execution of tasks.QualificationsStrong analytical skills for monitoring shipping processes and identifying areas of improvementExcellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with customers and vendorsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant softwareA Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredExperience in the logistics or transportation industry is beneficial PRB
