About the CompanyOur client is a growing successful private family-owned company of 300 staff, and they are looking to hire an IT Infrastructure and Support Lead for a full-time position in Mississauga, 4 days per week in the office.About the OpportunityThis person will be leading a team of 2 in running the infrastructure and support for the organization of 250 usersThis person should have leadership experience with small teams (IT Support), and be hands-on with servers/networks/ITIL, understand KPIs and how to measure IT performanceExperience with IT frameworks/processes/efficiencies is important, as well as leadership and coachingHands-on work will include some HD escalations (supporting VIPs, Level 3 support (along with vendors), strong VMware and Windows servers (few offices and datacenters with about 8-10 physical hosts and 70+ VMs, and networking (HP and Cisco gear including Meraki), company will be moving to SDwan (future project)This role will be the right-hand person to the Director of IT. 60% hands-on 40% leadership/administration/projectsAbout YouStrong experience in progressive IT positions - hands-on with IT support, servers, networksM365 experienceStrong windows servers VMware and HyperV experienceStrong networking (HP/Cisco switches, firewalls)Leadership/coaching experience (small teams, informal is ok)Small/midsize environments (no large)Understanding of IT KPIs (e.g. ITIL/ITSM) and frameworks/best practicesGreat communication skillsAbility to commute to Mississauga/Brampton office 4 days per weekBonus Items:IT Project deliverySDWanSalary Range$100,000-$115,000/yearHow to ApplyClick the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
