Main Purpose of the Job: This is a combined function consisting of:Technical IllustrationsCreate illustrations that are used in technical documentation, Parts Catalogues / Spare Parts CataloguesRe-work engineering drawings into clear annotated graphics (either as 2D or as 3D illustrations)EPC CompilingExtract parts lists from the engineering drawings / Daproh / Vendors and in-put the information into a logically structured listExtract / re-work supplied parts list into logically structured lists (approved template)Compile catalogues using logical structure according to the following Specifications:S1000DMIL-PRF-38807CKey Performance Areas (KPA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Spare Parts Catalogue Development 40%Develop and compile new Spare Parts Catalogues / Lists from supplied Quotations received from The companyContinually update existing Parts Catalogues / Lists from data received from The companyIncorporate Supplier / Vendor information into the Company CataloguesIllustrated Parts Catalogue DevelopmentDevelop and compile new Structured Parts Catalogues / ListsContinually update existing Parts Catalogues / Lists and Incorporate Superseded data and structuresIncorporate Supplier / Vendor information into the Company CataloguesIllustrations 40%Apply contract requirements, technical illustrating specifications and use illustration software and hardware to create technical illustrationsIncorporate Supplier / Vendor information into the Company CataloguesStandards 10%Maintain content of illustration databaseMaintain content of parts list databaseGeneral Support 10%Support Technical Documentation team with manual illustration requirements2.
