Rope access technician

Responsibilities:Rope Access Work: Perform rope access tasks, including inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and structures.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), harnesses, and ropes.Equipment Setup: Rigging and setting up rope access systems, ensuring stability and reliability.Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of structures, equipment, and components to identify defects or issues.Maintenance and Repair: Address maintenance needs, repair structural components, and replace faulty parts.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs.Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members, communicating clearly and following instructions.Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as rescuing personnel from heights.Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications. Qualifications:Certification: Possess a valid IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).Physical Fitness: OHS Medical Certificate stating fitness for Work at Height.Experience: Practical experience in rope access work is preferred.Safety Awareness: Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety guidelines.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges while working at heights.
