Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Project Coordinator to support their IT department and Product Owners in managing intake requests for product changes and new initiatives.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and process all new intakes and track them throughout the initiative lifecycleReview all intakes for accuracy and ensure documentation is entered to the highest standards of quality to assist the broader team in solutioning and prioritizing requestsCollaborate closely with intake requestors, product owner teams, and tech delivery teams to resolve and clarify any details of the requestProvide ongoing leadership throughout the various stages of the delivery cycle, including intake, discovery, prioritization, planning, implementation, and launchOffer guidance and expertise in alleviating roadblocks throughout the intake and prioritization processAssist product owners with sequencing work across the platform based on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies, and other implementation constraintsMonitor deadlines for regulatory and other fixed timeline workAnticipate delivery risks/issues and mitigate them accordingly, ensuring timely resolution of impediments and escalating as requiredRequirements3+ years of work experience in a relevant role is preferred. Direct experience of working in IT Business Management team of a Financial Services Organization is an asset but not required.Previous experience with DevOps preferred.Problem-solving orientation, capable of investigating issues and proposing solutions and alternatives.Solid written, verbal communication and attentive listening skills with demonstrated ability to articulate messages and document thought processes.Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to tell a story through presentation materials.
