For more information, visit www.miovision.com.Position SummaryWe're looking for a Senior Frontend Software Developer to join our Mobility Reports and QAP teams.Our Mobility Reports team is building solutions for our customers to view complex data sets presented in a way that is simple to read and understand for various customer situations. This team collaborates frequently with Data Science teams in order to ensure that quality and accuracy is delivered to the customer.Our QAP team works to maintain a system that allows for processing video data input for various data points that can be provided as output. This system leverages a wide variety of technologies.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop high-quality UX/UI components from initial design/prototype phase to productionDesign, develop, test, deploy and maintain high quality software systemsChampion the use of frontend automated testing, end user usage instrumentation, etc.Architect reusable web components that can be shared across teamsDrive high quality delivery through code reviews and mentorshipSkills/Qualifications5+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScriptDemonstrated ability to build web applications using modern JavaScript techniques (e.g. Angular), and to modernize existing frontend development stacks through migrationsExperience unit testing (Jest) and end-to-end testing (Cypress)Ability to work with a variety of partners including UX designers, data scientists, various product teams, and QAA history of taking ownership of problems and delivering complete solutionsBeing an enthusiastic code reviewer that prioritizes helping others deliver high quality code as much as doing the same in your own deliverablesAdditional AssetsMastery of Angular and TypeScriptExperience with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), SCSS and exposure to TailwindExperience with at least one of these languages: C#, Java, KotlinContinuous delivery and trunk based developmentKnowledge of responsive design principlesPerks and BenefitsNote: We do offer flexible onsite and remote work options.
