Our downtown Toronto based client is seeking an Oracle Project Manager to manage a Product Data Hub implementation. The start date is asap, the length of the contract is 6-9 months and likely to be extended. It will be onsite to start the project and turn to hybrid thereafter.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oracle PDH Project Manager to lead our Product Data Hub implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with expertise in Oracle Product Data Hub solutions. As an Oracle PDH Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of PDH solutions, ensuring successful project delivery, and driving business value for our clients.Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle PDH implementation projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans and timelines.Manage project resources, including internal project teams, consultants, and vendors, to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.Lead project kickoff meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions to establish project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.Define and document business processes, data requirements, and system configurations for Oracle PDH implementations, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data stewards, developers, and IT infrastructure teams, to ensure successful integration and deployment of PDH solutions.Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance to change during PDH implementations.Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.Conduct regular project status meetings, stakeholder meetings, and steering committee meetings to provide updates on project progress, escalate issues, and solicit feedback.Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, and implement continuous process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.Lead project closure activities, including documentation of lessons learned, completion of project deliverables, and handover to support and maintenance teams.Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.Proven experience (5+ years) managing Oracle PDH implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations from planning to post-implementation support.Strong understanding of product data management concepts, data governance principles, and master data management best practices.Expertise in Oracle PDH solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and PLM.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope, budget, and timelines, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and project teams at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Microsoft Project, Agile, and Waterfall.Experience with change management, stakeholder management, and risk management techniques.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for project engagements and workshops.
