The traffic coordinator creates successful relationships with carriers, shipping personnel, customer service and all other company employees. Knowledge of the shipping industry locally and/or internationally would be considered an asset.Negotiate freight rates with partner carriers;Coordinate shipments with Shippers and Consignees;Responsible for tracking and tracing shipments;Work with Sales and Customer Service on logistics related tasks;Prepare freight related reports as requested by ManagementQualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience in Freight / Traffic;Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook);Some knowledge of Customs formalities;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Problem solving and multitasking ability;Detail oriented with a strong sense of priority.We are an equal opportunity employer.
