Inside Technical Sales - Commercial

Engineered Pump Systems Ltd. has a need for an inside technical sales team member who brings experience with creating specifications, quoting, negotiating, trouble-shooting and/or project managing in the commercial/mechanical industry. The successful candidate will be self-motivated who enjoys learning and working in a team environment.   Responsibilities Interpret mechanical and civil engineering drawings Prepare technical product specifications for engineering consultantsPrepare detailed quotations for contractors and end-usersProblem-solving mechanical/electrical equipment Coordinate projects with internal colleagues (Operations & Accounting) and external customersPresent technical information to engineers, contractors and end-users   Skills and AttributesTeam-focused, positive and driven attitude - attitude is everything!Strong learning, problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skillsUnderstands when to be collaborative and when to be assertiveComfortable with fast-paced phone conversationsKnowledge of submersible pumps, controls, valves and pipe/fittings Must have good computer skills with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365)ERP experience considered an assetAt least 2 years of related sale experience   The position is based out of our facility in Port Coquitlam. Technical training will be provided for the new team member. Occasional travel may be required for training (USA), tradeshows and customer visits. This position pays a competitive wage depending on skills and experience.
