Overview:Our client is at the forefront of infrastructure development in Canada, driving innovation and setting benchmarks for excellence. They are thrilled to play a pivotal role in Vancouver's most awaited transit infrastructure project, the Broadway Subway Project. As we continue to expand our footprint in this exciting venture, we are looking for a seasoned MEP Superintendent to spearhead our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing efforts. Reporting to the MEP Manager, the MEP Superintendent is responsible for supporting and coordinate BSCGP MEP Construction activities. This role will include coordination with and between subcontractors for construction process, deliverables, products, material, clashes.What you will be doing:Act as point of contact for the MEP material deliveriesMonitor and coordinate MEP works between subcontractors.Coordinate possible interferences , clashes and difficulties between subcontractors.Attend the daily coordination meetings to update and discuss the following activitiesControl the performance of the MEP activities and report any deviation.Work with MEP coordinators in order to prepare all the tasks for subcontractors.Collaborate with the vendors, suppliers and third parties for shop drawing, verification and validation record review, comment and submission.Coordinate with vendors and subcontractor for integration, Testing and commissioning activity and notification.Provide technical solutions to improve the performance of the activities.Coordinate between Stations and Tunnel works the interface between themMaintain and keep up to date the documents for recordsPerform other duties as assigned or assumed on the personal initiative with approval from the managerWhat you must have:Education in Electrical knowledgeAbility to read and understanding technical report, specification and design drawing and documentsDemonstrated experience coordinating different teams and specialties10 years' experience in a construction environmentExperience working with Microsoft office packageStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsWell organized, self-starterElectrical , Mechanical and Firefighting experienceTunnel ventilation System experience is a plusOther Information:Competitive compensation package and benefits.Opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic environment.Collaborative and innovative work culture.
