Interns will receive valuable training and mentoring to support their professional growth, develop marketable skills, and learn about Teladoc Health's business and the healthcare industry. This is a paid opportunity, in which interns will be assigned projects and tasks relevant to Teladoc Health's current business needs.Position Summary The Technical Writer Intern will work with the Technical Writer to prepare product, technical and end user documentation for our offerings and processes. Working closely with the technical writer, they will develop and promote the adoption of documentation templates for system, database, and program information. This role will function as a primary writer—responsible for deliverables of substantial scope and complexity. ​​Role and Responsibilities​ Prepare, review and maintain documents including operational, user documentation and training materials. Write, format, edit and review information for all users/ Assist in planning, scheduling and tracking documentation work to meet client deliverables. Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others ensuring consistency. Act as an editor to ensure consistency in training documentation across business. Skill Requirements/Preferences Strong writing and technical editing skills. Commitment to deadlines with a strong sense of urgency Creative with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communications skills Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task Willingness to learn Team player Member focused Education Requirements Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program and returning to school in September 2024 Currently residing in Canada Currently enrolled in a technical communication program or related discipline or at least 1 year of experience in writing complex documentation 1+ years of technology and/or healthcare experience preferred Business Process Solutions experience Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio experience preferred Hospitals and Health Care
