In just four years, we've acquired and turned around brands including: Sur La Table, Direct Buy, One Kings Lane and Touch of Modern saving thousands of jobs.We are seeking a skilled Contract Retail Recruiter to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to fill retail positions within our organization. This role requires a keen understanding of the retail industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful recruitment in fast-paced environments.This position will report into the VP of Recruiting.Please note, this is a contract position. Hours and schedule may vary depending on business needs. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.What you get to do every day:Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.Source potential candidates through online channels, job boards, social media, networking, and other avenues.Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.Coordinator and schedule interviews with hiring managers.Facilitate the interview process, including providing feedback and guidance to candidates.Extend job offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.Assist with other recruitment-related tasks and projects as assigned.What you bring to the role:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience.Proven 5 years' experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the retail industry.Knowledge of retail recruitment best practices and trends.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Flexibility to work on a contractual basis and adapt to changing priorities.What our interview process looks like:Depending on the position, our application and interview process may vary, but here are some of the ways we get to know you better: Retail
