JOB PURPOSEThe Administrative assistant's role is to provide customer support and be the first point of contact on the phone, route and escalate calls and assist with administrative and organizational tasks.KEY JOB FUNCTIONSFront Desk and Customer Service through phone/email/walk-insProvide pleasant customer experience, and build lasting positive impressions by catering to client needsRouting and escalating calls as per the internal procedure to assist in resolving client issuesScan/Photocopy and organize documentsSend/receive mailReporting /DocumentationCompiling data to assist in policy adjustment/special accommodationsTroubleshoot basic issueAssist other teams with event/course planning and implementation as neededAssist with other operational tasks as required to ensure minimal interruption to servicesAble to work in a high-paced environment BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTSEducation: Completed a related Degree, Diploma, or Program. Experience in Administration Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working as a receptionist or administrative assistant.ASSETSKeyboard TypingCommunication skills. Proficiency in multiple languages (English is a must)Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite of products (i.e. Office, Outlook, Excel, etc..)Experience working in an Academic institutionFlexible hours are a plus as overtime work may be required during peak seasonsMulti-tasking is a must WORK ENVIRONMENTPhysical Environment Offices, Classroom, and labsHours Regular Business hours. 8 hours/day.
