Amarc Resources Ltd. ("Amarc" or the "Company") (an HDI associated Company) is looking for an experienced Logistics Advisor to work with the Company's highly experienced Operations Team from approximately May through September 2024. Amarc is a leading British Columbia-focused copper-gold junior exploration and development company with a Corporate Office in downtown Vancouver, BC. Through a combination of strong projects, financial backing and a commitment to the communities in which it works, and an experienced and successful management team, Amarc has created a solid platform on which to build shareholder value. Amarc's goal is to discover, develop and transact BC's next generation of copper mines.Amarc has three copper-gold projects - the JOY District, the DUKE District and the IKE District - which are all fully funded for extensive drilling in 2024. Funding partners include Freeport McMoran and Boliden at the JOY and DUKE Districts, respectively, and Amarc intends to self-fund activities at the IKE District.Hunter Dickinson Inc. ("HDI") is a private and diversified, global mining group characterized by the commitment and drive of its founders. Over HDI's 35-year history it has discovered, developed and transacted 12 projects globally, that have been or are currently being mined.THE POSITION:Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, the Logistics Advisor role is an extremely important role that drives the success of field programs. We are looking for an individual with heli-supported survey and drill experience, and the ability to work in remote field locations throughout British Columbia.Logistics Planning and Coordination:as part of, and with support from, Amarc's Operations Team.comprehensive exploration logistics plans as a member of the Operations Team.transportation arrangements, including land and air logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of personnel, equipment, and supplies to exploration sites.compliant set-up and management of exploration camp facilities to ensure infrastructure, catering, and other essential services are provided.Health & Safety, and Environmental:leadership through example, guidance and coaching to all employees and contractors on site in matters related to Health & Safety, and Environment.compliance with Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations relevant to exploration activities, ensuring that federal, provincial, Amarc's and the Company's funding partner standards are met.in and lead as required pre-site orientations for each field campaign, and lead Health & Safety orientation for new arrivals at site.the support of the team monitor, timely report and investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses associated with exploration activities within the timeframes required by local jurisdictions, including Worksafe BC, EMLI, and Amarc's funding partners.a valid driver's license and Mines Supervisor ticket.Aid Level 1 certification is a plus.Contractor Management and Supply Chain:and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, assist in contract agreement set-up and negotiation as requested, and coordinate with the team to manage procurement processes for equipment, consumables, and services required for exploration operations.inventory control procedures, including storage, inspection, cost and maintenance of equipment and supplies, in coordination with site personnel.Local Community and Government Relations:local community engagement as required on behalf of Amarc, building mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships.as primary liaison with the communities as required, fostering open communication, trust and collaborationTeam Collaboration and Communication:closely with the Operations Team, and as required the Amarc leadership and technical team, and funding partners, to provide input on the planning for all site programs.seamless integration of logistics operations with overall project plans by coordinating with exploration geologists, and other personnel.Budgeting and Reporting:Assist in tracking on site expenditures and in the approval of on-site invoices as required.Other:Participate and contribute to special projects and other related logistical duties as required.
