Our client, based in Winnipeg, MB is a dynamic organization seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their Corporate Services team. Under the guidance of their HR Manager, this role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of their payroll processes and office coordination. They value professionalism, accuracy, and commitment to excellence.As the Payroll & Office Coordinator, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of company payrolls and benefits administration. Additionally, you will manage general office coordination tasks, including reception duties and office supply management. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyPayroll and Office Coordinator responsibilities:Ensure timely and accurate processing of company payrolls.Generate pre- and post-payroll reports for internal control purposes.Review and reconcile earnings and deductions, addressing discrepancies as needed.Provide payroll-related support to employees.Audit payroll records to ensure compliance with legislation.Coordinate office flow, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.Assist with HR administrative functions and policy development.The successful candidate has: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Customer service-oriented mindset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Commitment to confidentiality and professionalismUndergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.PCP designation or working towards certification.Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation.Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.Payworks experience preferred.Familiarity with Records Management retention requirements.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.Compensation and benefits:The discussed salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 depending on qualifications and experienceComprehensive benefits and vacation packageOnly candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
