Reporting to the Technical Manager, it will be the Technical Engineers role to work alongside the engineering team, key customers and clients to establish technical requirements, assisting with the Bulk Materials Handling/Washing Systems/Crushing and Screening design when required. The Technical Engineer is responsible for the planning, organisation and directing of the applications process from concept through the design, prototype, manufacturing and commissioning stages. They are also responsible for ensuring that work meets established internal quality standards as well as customer specifications. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Identify and provide reliable solutions for technical applications to assure complete customer satisfaction. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and application. Offer input into new product development to ensure we address market opportunity. Deliverpreand post-sales support in a helpful and professional manner. Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements. Maintain an understanding of applicable domestic and international standards to ensure that McCloskey Products comply withtheseand certifications are maintained. Support new product introduction as required. Provide technical advice and assistance to customers and distributors when required. Prepare technical documentation in line with the company standards and support from the Technical Publications team. Assist with / perform tests,startupsand training services. Assist with / perform technical/Product training for sales, engineers and customers. Prepare technical specifications in line with customer requirements to ensure products meet expectations. Assist in the preparation of technical offers. Respond to any customer enquiries in a timely and informative manner. Expected Outcomes Identify and exploit potential opportunities for the MIL product range Build relationships with internal and external partners to establish technical requirements Develop excellent working knowledge of entire product range to advise how they can support each other Ensure high level of quality standards every time. Travel when required. Desired Education and Background Minimum of 1years experiencein a relevant industry Recent Graduate in Engineering or other relevant subject, or current student ofhigher levelapprenticeship. Technically competent andhave the ability toread and understand technical drawings and information Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan and organise workload. Strong IT skills including MS Office and previous Autocad and 3D CAD experience.
